In the beginning of August, we and the rest of the Howe family took a trip to Emerald Isle in North Carolina. It was a week of sandy bliss; riding waves, searching for seashells, Big Oak and Bojangles runs, kenkens til the sun came up, doing the disco with the Raving Rabbits, Bang, Hand and Foot, delicious afternoon naps, the Men's Meat Marathon, sun bathing, and of course, one of our favorites, crab hunting. Several nights we all head out to the tide line with flashlights and our choice of kitchen appliances; tongs, pots, strainers...etc. Ghost crabs are white, creepy, crawly,...disgusting, but fast and really fun to catch. It was a fantastic week. Thanks all, for making it happen.
